BSIS UN R151 Blind Spot Information System And MOIS UN R159 Moving Off Information System

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) officially announced the technical regulations UN R151 related to the blind spot monitoring system and the technical regulations UN R159 related to the moving off information system.

Unitech develop a completely solution BSIS (Blind Spot Information System) to comply with the UN ECE requirement of UN R151 for commercial vehicle (M2, M3, N2, and N3).

BSIS System consist of two built-in radar PCBA to provide full 180° coverage of the vehicle’s side blind spots. Which effectively detects obstacles within the entire blind spot area.

MOIS System use a microwave radar to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle. During startup or low-speed driving, the system provides warnings for potential collision hazards (such as bicycles or motorcycles in front of the vehicle at traffic lights, or pedestrians or bicycles/motorcycles crossing pedestrian crossings).

The whole system is the perfect solution to fulfill the regulation requirements of both UN R151 and UN R159.
